Volunteer
Volunteers gain experience with a wide variety of farm tasks and are deeply appreciated here at Roots. In times of
abundance, we like to express that appreciation with surplus veggies.
Our current volunteer days and hours are:

out so we can be ready for you. Also, if you'd like to get notices and reminders about volunteer opportunities on the
land, send us an email requesting to be added to our listserve and we'll get you on board.
Working Member
Working members trade labor for a share of CSA veggies and get to experience a full harvest season on the farm.

Extern
We now offer externships here at Roots for a deeper, more educational farm experience. Internship positions provide
the opportunity to observe, actively experience, ask questions, and above all learn about small scale sustainable
farming. Our internship positions are flexible and tailored to individual needs and desires, so contact us to work out
the details RootsFarm@hotmail.com. This learning experience does not include room, board, or stipend. Produce,
education, and experience will be abundantly available.
Roots Farmer
We're a small team of farmers here at Roots and all of our positions are currently full. If, however, you are interested
in farming with us in the future feel free to check out the JOB DESCRIPTION. Any openings will be posted online here
as they arise. Ability to work outside early, long, hot, hard, late, dirty, sweaty, in a team, as a leader, lifting, carrying,
bending, pushing, digging, reaching, and problem solving is required. Experience is appreciated. Must love veggies.
